Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder AD HD ; is the name given to the condition in children, teenagers, and adults when they show poor attention as well as impulsivity in their day-to-day behavior. Kolber, Steinhart and Jayaweera had responded on whether Fuzeon and Aptivus should be added to the formulary copy on file ; . The following is a brief summary of the discussion regarding Fuzeon: Some agreement that the addition of both medications would prove beneficial to patients. Both medications have proven effective in treating patients. The issue of cost must be considered. Since the cost associated with these meds is so high, neither should be used as first-line agents. Restrictions should be developed for both medications. Fuzeon is on the ADAP formulary. Roche Pharmaceuticals has a patient assistance program. The Ryan White program may end up having to pay for Fuzeon until a patient meets all the ADAP criteria. By adding Fuzeon to the formulary, this would allow patients on the insurance co-pay program to receive assistance for this medication. Once a completed ADAP application is received for Fuzeon, the approval time is about seven days. Patients who have been on Fuzeon for 3 months with no results should be removed from the medication. The committee agreed patients need to go through the application process for ADAP and the patient assistance program and drug coverage would be limited to 60 days. Be sure it's clear and particle-free before you inject it. By mixing your next dose ahead of schedule and storing it in the fridge, you won't have to wait for up to 45 minutes for FUZEON to dissolve.
